I Robo Fish, proudly announce the 1st release of my 2nd mission, Avenger Desert lol.gif.
I know you are like "Wtf why .8?" it because of some unsure triggers or teamtypes that are not working the intented way.
I decided to realease it anyway, because the little bugs in it aren't affecting the gameplay so much.

If you find any errors or incoherent triggers, just PM me or talk to me on MSN or anything..

And now the description :

Name : Avenger Desert
Theater : Desert
Side : Nod
Build base : No
Videos : Yes
Approx. time to complete the mission : 30-45 minutes

Breifing : GDI forces made a major coup in the region of Egypt by destroying our base.
They are constantly watching our Temple and if we come to take it back,
a GDI force will take it down. We can't let this happen! Take your taskforce
and contact our northen outpost for reinforcement. After destroy ther Adv comm
center to hamper there Ion cannon. After Finish GDI with the Nuclear missile.

No one bothered to reply but Im releasing VER.9 anyway

bugs :

-Not enough power to display the minimap when finding the Temple of Nod : FIXED
-Reinforcements won't come in the right place : FIXED
-The airstrike will stil strike the temple even is the trigger is destroy : PENDING
-Airstrike sometime, will hit others thing than the temple : PENDING

I didn't see anything in the mission or briefing that would destroy the airstrike trigger...

-Airstrike sometime, will hit others thing than the temple
An AI-controlled airstrike ALWAYS strikes the most northern hostile target. There is nothing you can do about that.


more notes:

-even though the briefing talks about an advanced communication center, there is no Ion Cannon trigger, meaning the ion cannon is never fired.
Normally you make an ion cannon trigger called "XXXX", and connect the special trigger with action "dstry trigger 'XXXX'" to the advanced comm center. Just look how it's done in Westwood's missions.

-the trigger "dprox", which sends out an enemy attack after a target is destroyed, isn't connected to any building or unit and is thus never used.
-the teamtype "gdi1" is only used by trigger "dprox", and is thus also never used.

-the triggers Production and Autocreate are present, but there are no structures set to rebuild or teamtypes set to autocreate.



Oh, and please use correct punctuation and spelling in the briefing. It should be:

1=GDI forces made a major coup in the region of Egypt by destroying our base.
2=They are constantly watching our Temple and if we come to take it back
3=a GDI force will take it down. We can't let this happen. Take your taskforce
4=and contact our northen outpost for reinforcements. Destroy their Advanced
5=communications center to hamper their Ion cannon, and use the Temple's
6=nuclear missile to finish them off.
