I have heard of them, how do you play them?

From someone on the Gamespot forums:

From someone on the Petroglyph forums:

If you have TFD, make a shortcut copy of your Tiberian Dawn game exe, and open the shortcut properties by right-clicking the icon. Then, you see "target" line there. Insert this line to the back of the target line, outside the last quote mark:

funpark -cd.

Now you should have something like this:

"C:/Program Files/The First Decade/Command & Conquer/game(or whatever it is).exe" funpark -cd.

Then, run the file, and select "start new game". Now you should enter the dino missions.

Useful bump? confused.gif

Find your game directory.

usually: C:\Westwood\C&C95
For TFD: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The First Decade\Command & Conquer ™

Find CNC95.exe and create a shortcut, right click on the shortcut, find target and write after the last quote (") funpark -cd. -cd allows you to play without the CD.

There is also a nice trick with this.

Start normal C&C95, start a new campaign with either Nod or GDI. When it starts, save the game and quit. Start with the funpark shortcut and load the mission, restart the mission and deploy your MCV and you will see that you can build all the units on the sides tech tree! Even the multiplayer only units!

Actually, the parameter to add when playing without CD is "-cd." That's "Dash Cee Dee Dot". The dot is ESSENTIAL.

If you forget the dot, it won't work, since the syntax is "-cdPathToUseAsCD" and the "." is the DOS notation for "Current directory".

This also means that if you don't have TFS, just shouldn't add the -cd stuff, since it will cause the game to ignore the files on the CD. This only works if you have a NoCD setup where the required files are in your C&C directory.
