ahh, green is a bad idea.. ther's only like 6 of em in the whole palette.. I'd make that into a remap color instead (the red on the bottom left of the palette is what changes color for different teams)

It isn't about how much green there is in a pallette, it's about how it looks ingame don't you think?
Would it be too much remap if it was the whole apache?

I don't think you'll have to make it all remap. Try changing the green to a brown/dark brown.

Oh, and the black makes it look much better.

Horrible and useless. Why would we want a parked helicopter just to see the rotors? We can't even have deployale aircraft.

It's far from horrible. You know, even an apache that won't fly isn't useless, ever heard of eye candy? confused.gif Ofcourse you can make it fly by removing the rotors.

the shape is ok
maybe the angle is a bit wrong and doesn't fits the TS isometric view, but not much

the biggest problem imo is the texture which looks way too pixely. You should make it a bit smoother and of course use some better colors.

Then you could also remove the rotor as well as the tail rotor and make a small anim of them. If you let them rotate only very slow (in art.ini Rate=50) it looks like they rotate only by the wind and not like it wants to start.

That's why we have voxels. You can easily have a parked helicopter by simply putting the unit on the ground when making a map, and making it unmovable. The thing is, you would only get a small graphical benefit by making a SHP instead (Rotors and a slightly better texture, oh and an animation like LKO pointed out). He didn't even make damage frames for it.
