I was just wondering, can you make a certain area on the map reveal itself when you enter a celltrigger, if so how? I didn't see any reveal action huh.gif

correct. A DropZone Flare is the only way to reveal an area and is always the waypoint number 25, so you can only use it on one position.
Name: dzne (up to you but often used is this shortcut)
Event: Player Enters (if you want to use celltriggers, the cells name must be dzne)
Action: DZ at 'Z' (the dropzone action)
Player: GoodGuy/BadGuy (must match the players house, else it won't reveal the map)
Teamtype: None

A little workaround and without the possibility to make it happen at a certain time, is placing a player unit with 1 hitpoint near an enemy unit. So at the start of the map the player unit gets killed but reveals a certain area. If you don't use reinforcements you can also make the unit come out on a certain point of the map and this way reveal an area.
I already tried to do this with units of an allied house, but they don't reveal the map for the player.

Basically, a unit that's dropped off by a Chinook is attacked by an enemy unit on Area Guard. Both are AI. The unit on the map HAS to be on Area Guard for it to work.

The MHQ trick can indeed be used for map reveal, since all it leaves is 3 smoking craters. If it's not surrounded you need to drop off the visceroid one cell higher though. Also note that since this is just two vehicles right next to eachother firing, the revealed spot is very small.
