You can overclock alienwares. There is a setting in BOIS for when your PC will reboot once certain things get too hot, so if your CPU gets too hot from overclocking, the setting can be changed there. If the virus really is a BIOS virus, then it might have affected that also, to prevent the stopping of it's destruction, and providing a explanaition for any failed safety things....
Anyway, bad luck dude, whatever it is thats causing the problem.
