try to find a good high quality image of a juggernaut firing. you will probably fail.

I'd say just keep the mothership or use the TS scrin ship but personally i have no problem with the mothership, its actually pretty cool

It doesn't have to be that good quality because it'll just be cropped down to be just that small behind a field of tiberium.
And should tiberium be Westwood style of EA style? I prefer Westwood with the pods

the first part of the mod would be the scrin part, so using a scrin ship would be the obvious choise. it would also need to be reflected in a scrin soldier's visor.

that might be too weird, we want the aliens to to be very alien looking so they might not wear helmets. I'd just keep it with the classic look and add a new twist. I'm fine with the one we've got now. if it ain't broken don't fix it.

the aliens have warschips -> they are technologically advanced creatures -> they have combat oriented equipent, including armor and weapons -> they will most probably have visors.

they should not look alien, they should look like they could actually exist. and that might be far closer to earth's lifeforms than you think. and probably also far closer to humans.

still it might be too weird, unless we give them human looking heads their helmets wouldn't be recognizable as such and would ruin the effect. or better idea: ask Petro what they wanted on the box!

Do we need another stupid Visor logo? These should be the LEAST of the mod's priorities, by far. Get a damn unit list before we start talking logos. confused.gif

okay so i was thinking. the helmet idea is cool and all but not really very huge. i was thinking we need some awe inspiring movie poster type logo as well. well after watching Titan AE along with Code Lyoko and some Battlestar Galactica I think I've got something. while watching CL they had William (the minor villain) riding on the back of a flying monster, it gave me the idea of Naia riding on the top of the kodiak. i started drawing that, then decided to but a wrecked city under it, and from there it got more and more involved. right now i have the outline of the tiberium done as well as the wrecked city but i can't get the depth looking right on the Kodiak, if someone has a kodiak voxel screenshot or an image of the SG-1 Daedalus facing front at eye level it would be great.

here is a 30 second MS paint sketch of what it will look like:

the Kodiak is flying forward with Naia (stick figure) riding on top, its running from the tiberium which is growing and starting to wrap around it. behind the tiberium is the Earth with just a thin crescent visible and the ion cannon (which will be smaller in the real one) firing at the surface. at the bottom we have the wrecked city with lightning strikes fading in from the darkness above. the purple lines are ships, scrin, nod, and GDI. and to finish it off there are the eyes watching it all, in the final they will be robotic looking and will represent Cabal. plus to top it off. i think we could have reflections the faces of the modders in the giant tiberium.

only problems are:
1. someone else will have to color it with photshop or something cause i can't
2. i have no scanner an even if i did the paper i'm using would probably be too big to fit in it so i need to take it somewhere to get it scanned.
3. if we put the community's faces in the tib someone will have to do that also, i can make outlines for it but i doubt i could draw much detail into it and i can't render
