Ok, what the heck is going on here?

I hope I uploaded the right file.
I have also some other strange problems.
Booting my PC goes slow as hell,
so I thought, defragmentation might help. It won't analyse my harddisks, and wond defragment it.
I can't move my desktop icons to anywhere.
Internet Explorer seems to be lazy, and closes before it opens (that's why I use firefox).
Deinstalling things, hmm, some. But most, nah.
I had a virus, and when I deleted it, and replaced the missing file with a non-infected one, that program stopped working, got an error of windows that it would shutdown within x seconds, because a required windows program closed 'unexpected'. And when it rebooted... this...

Attached Image

(oh, and sorry for the bmp format, but I can't find the JPEG or PNG button, because that's also written in this strange font. Internet sites are also affected, but don't use this strange one. It seems to be bold or something, that's why I can see now its a bmp file)

Re-uploaded the image as PNG ~Bittah Commander

Yup, that's pretty much it. But I still got other problems:
- I can't edit the settings of my firewall and virus scanner
- I can't left click on a file, and drag it to somewhere.
- Internet Explorer still doesn't work
- Some driver files and programs won't load
- I can't defrag

Hey, my computer has just experianced some of the same difficulties, but much worse i think. I'm having to reinstall windows.

-It takes ages to boot up.

-When it does, sometimes the tool bar is minimised, and can't be put up again.

- i cant move desktop icons

- i cant connect to the internet on anything, IE or FF.

- The toolbar is grey, when in telling it to be blue. It's like the W98 version.

Doesn't matter, i'm using my parents PC, and i'll be back on mine soon after we reinstall windows.

Gargh.

Kill Bill (Gates)

PS:

To change it back, you may have to do something. SOmething happened to me ages ago, where windows was asking paint to play my music, for one reason or another. My dad went into a certain file and set it from paint to VLC Media player. Maybe you can change the fonts from there. I'll post again tommorow, I'm tired now and my dad is eating.

About a month ago I also had difficulties like this.. using the repair option from the Windows CD fixed it.

Sounds like your virus destroyed more than your font.

5 years ago i had a big virus problem too.
Then i participated in the group of the Anonymous Firewall Users (AFWU) and now i'm clean.
I had never again a virus backfall.

Sounds like your virus destroyed more than your font.

Well, the font is the fault of windows update and virusscanners.
Because my PC was slow as hell, I wanted to defrag, but that didn't work, and I scanned my PC for virusses and rebooted after that. That caused that font (read Bittah's Post).
And I'm not sure if it was the virus which screwed up my windows. Anyways, now it works again. Still some programs and addons, plug ins and drivers that are missing, or give errors because they aren't installed properly. Will fix that later.
