You guys MUST make the skirmish game mode like Team Alliance from Yuri's Revenge.

With selectable options like:
*Every player's starting postion
*Which the faction the AI(s) is
*Which AIs are allies and enemies

If this is implemented, I'll be playing TS:FS much more than RA2:YR

IMO, the only one which would really help is picking the opponent's side.
Plus, as I've said before, HyperPatch will never get released if we keep asking Hyper to do things faster than he can do them.
HyerPathc is sill a one-man operation, isn't it?

IMO the most important ones of those would be choosing player locations and allies.

However, let's wait for Hyper to fix the other things first.

The Yuri's Revenge multiplayer settings system was definitely the best, a Superweapons button, player locations, preset alliances and chosing your oponents faction are definitely on the top of my wish list for HyperPatch, but as mentioned above this is a one man operation and he will work on it at is own pace (even so I hope this definitely gets considered after AirTransport and BuildConst smile.gif).

Yeah.. but I've heard that adding controls in ASM is quite time consuming, so I wouldn't expect something like this for a while (if ever).

I don't want much from HyperPatch, thus I want BuildConst replaced, Aircraft working better, and maybe a few other little things. I really think that Hyper should make those so very important changes to TS, then add features after a release.

But I am so very impatient tongue.gif

It would be best, instead of heavy UI editing, just add another button like the map button and have it replace game speed (since I perfer to have my set game speed all the time).

^^no, it's not. Don't suggest something concerning things of which you have no clue.
UI editing is simple compared to the task to implement the new logics to the exe. Which will most probably not be done anyway, as it requires too many changes in the game code.

Sorry, I was thinking space wise, I know that this would be extremely time consuming. I would rather have Hyper working on smaller but still just as, if not more, useful features.

Code for static button in resource: 1 line
Code for adding control of this button in the game code: 20+, excluding the huge amounts of code to handle what that button actualy DOES.

YR style Skirmish dialogs is something that will be long down the line.

No need to rush this feature, people have done without this for 9-10 years, waiting another 2-3 or not implementing it makes no difference.
