got this mod a few weeks ago and cant stop playing it! just a couple things i noticed though...

any chance on getting the snow type maps? the ones where its still green but the cliffs and paths have snowy edges?

also, in the original TD, when you would construct buildings, there would be that little patch of sandy ground underneath the building... any chance on implementing that?

also, i believe its been talked about here before, but is it final that there will never be 2d original style fencing int his mod due to the way TS maps things out? couldnt you make the fence section go from the top corner of the placement diamond to the bottom corner?

  • Snow maps might eventually happen, but don't count on them for a while because IF I implement snow terrain, it'll be quite a bit of work and I haven't really been that motivated lately.
  • Building bibs can't be added like in TD. The best thing that can be done is like what the War Factory and Refinery have, but then the foundations will have to be bigger and infantry still won't be able to walk over the bibs... So I'm best off just leaving the bibs away.
  • If I could have implemented the walls exactly as they are in TD, I obviously would have. Since TS has diamond shaped cells buildings are placed on (while TD has square shaped cells), the only way to possibly properly connect walls is if they have a diagonal angle. If walls would be placed vertically or horizontally, they'd have to have a foundation of 2x2 (instead of 1x1), because units would be able to pass in between otherwise. And aside from these issues, TS' engine wouldn't allow horizontal and vertical walls to visually connect either anyway.

Anyways, I'm glad you enjoy the mod and thanks for your input smile.gif
