Using Nyerguds' "funpark" batch file, I played the dinosaur missions. It annoyed me that the player's buildings in the missions were grey rather than red, even though the player is supposed to be Nod. I always have felt that unit/building colour difference was one of the cool unique ingame things about Nod in C&C:TD. So I extracted the mission files from the mix file they're in with XCC Mixer. Then I opened them in WordPad and found that the player's house was set to Multi4, rather than BadGuy (Nod). Because of this, the remap colour exception was not applied to the buildings. So everywhere "Multi4" appeared in the mission files, I replaced it with "BadGuy," and vice versa (I did this by first replacing all occurrences of "BadGuy" with "KluTrudge," replacing all occurrences of "Multi4" with "BadGuy," and then replacing all occurrences of "KluTrudge" with "Multi4."). The result was that the player's buildings are now red, and nothing else is different.

tbh i'm not that fond of this change, because beside some fanmade missions are these the only singleplayer missions where you play a different house than GDI or Nod and this is the only time you have really all build-options. With your change you can't build in the 4th mission all the GDI structures and units. Especially Mammoth tanks and Orcas are really effective against those dinos which you then can't build anymore.

That's weird; I could build everything when I replaced the standard missions with these.

But you are supposed to be Nod in these missions!
EDIT: That is really weird that you can't build both sides' technology in the 4th mission. I just checked, and I could. I could even build GDI units from my airstrip, and orcas from my helipads.

Why, then, am I sent in by Kane, if I'm not Nod? Anyway, if you don't like the idea of having red buildings, then you don't have to download the modified missions.
EDIT: It's not that I don't believe you - I'd just like to know how you know that.

Because you have a GDI weapons factory in mission 2, and you can select the GDI side when you start, which gives you the ability to build GDI stuff in mission #4 (and determines the helicopter type you get in mission 2).
