Hi

Cool, we have a Tiberian Dawn Mapping forum. dance.gif
To give it its right to exist, here my missions i've created for TD.
Those are now all in english.

Missionpack:Attached File  CnCTDmissionsLKOeng.zip ( 81.34K ) Number of downloads: 393

just extract the sc-003.mix and copy it into your C&C TD folder. Start TD and open the new mission menu.

(Modified to remove the ugly bib and also changed many other things, that makes these maps work and the game in my opinion better

I cant play these maps my TD crashes every time I try sad.gif

EDIT: I see some errors on that screen shot the buildings are placed on top of each other.

Wow! those are so filled with errors! I'm sorry, but I had to notice 'em ohmy.gif First, buildings get the dirt bib under them ingame. Second, Tiberium in shores? unharvestable...

i've modified my game.dat, but i doubt that this causes your game to crash.

those buildings that are placed on top of each other aren't in the [Base] section. Thats why it isn't a problem, thus they aren't rebuild after destruction.

In my game.dat most of the buildings have no bib anymore. This ugly space consuming thing was the first i've removed at that time.
And the Tiberium on shores isn't a problem. Not even in the original version. It is indeed harvestable. But can't spread there, once it has been harvested.

I've uploaded my game.dat for those who are interested. Take a look at the first post.
With this all the maps work imo perfect.

Apparently there's a global option to disable bibs... pretty cool. Haven't looked into the DOS version, but ti works fine in Windows. Requires a little hack to activate though.

But disabling the bib of the refinery is simply dangerous. It allows you to place the building in a way the harvester can't get in.

i think you've misunderstood something. the preview is from the editor and not ingame.
So there's no global option to disable bibs.
But you can disable them for each building for its own. I left the bib for the Refinery and GDI warfactory but removed them for Power plants, Helipads, the nod airstrip and some others.

No, I know what I'm talking about here.. there IS a global option to disable bibs. There's also more options, like MCV undeploy, smarter defense logic, make wheeled vehicles not turn on the spot, and more.

I know you can disable the bibs individually on each building, but that's not what I'm talking about here. See this thread for more details:
