Patch 1.08 was released, which is pretty much a patch for patch 1.07 ...

It doesn't let you box-select a mothership until 8 seconds after it's created. Yay.

You can still normally select it during the deploy time, it just won't accept any orders for the duration of the delay.

What else should it do, TB? roll.gif

At least mother ship rushers will have to work a little harder to pull off there tactic.

whats the point of stoping all cranes from building any defensive sructures! that just promotes rushing!

Posted by: Sir Modsalot Aug 29 2007, 09:55 PM

But it discourages base defense-crawling. Only now, people can just build a sh-load of MCVs, find a nice, flat area between bases and crawl that way. That's why the idea of restoring tier 1-2 defenses to cranes is so popular. (With tier 3 being Obbies/Storm Columns/Emitters, keeping these off cranes will help turtlers AND discourage defense-crawling, since the lower defenses can be destroyed relatively easily compared to the higher ones.)

and allso if it was one of the reasons have all defensive structures requier a con yard so if you destroy his (or her) con yard he cant spam base defences off his cranes still
