so it took a little longer than suspect partially because iv been busy but its finally done just as i promised a while ago. here is my mutation version of my Holixe river map. General Info: Name: Desolated River (name thanks to Tyler Adams) Map Maker: Ixith Map Size: 76X94 Players: 2 Theatre: Temperate Info: A 2 player map. This map is a mutated version of my map Holixe River. There is plenty of tiberium to harvest if not a surplus and a good amount of space to build up a base. This is my 17th map. i hope you enjoy it  Story: During early ages of the 2nd tiberium war GDI and Nod fought over this area as it held key stragetic points and would prove very beneficial to the side that controlled it. However, in the end it looked like GDI was going to take control of the area but Nod decided if they couldnt have it neither of them would and so they used the area for their Chemical missle testing. Thus destroying the land and eventually GDI abandoned the area. Now many years later after the area has evolved into a tiberium jungle and has healed from the war scars, GDI and Nod are both looking at the area again but for different reasons. This tiberium enriched land would give the other side a large advantage in resources to the conquerer. Now for the pics: (sorry if they seem blurry. they seem blurry to me at least and they are PNGs so yeah)      sorry no descriptions i think they say enough as they are though and finally the map itself EDIT: i forgot the minimap so i added it in for ya guys.

Detail: 5/5 How could I Not give this a 5 for detail!? Triggers: 3/5 Not many, but still loved the chaos the ion storm did. Balance: 4/5 Both sides were pretty balanced, but I couldn't stop thinking that the top player had less building space than the bottom player... Overall: 4/5 Loved it, and I think I'll play it again, right now.

the map is nice amd i initiate an vote for spotlight actually i just double checked that spot and its not a shore error and thanks for the support. response to wizi's stuff -detail: of course its coming from me so its gonna be detailed to the max :biggrin: -triggers: yeah i didnt want to overload on triggers though. so i thought a few meteors here and an accasional ion storm would do it. and a speech and text trigger. Should i have added more? -Balance: yeah the bottom players island is a bit bigger overall too but really if you think about it its just more chance of his area getting holes put into it from the ion storm. i actually wasnt completely happy with the lighting believe it or not more comments?

......yeah yeah i know i forgot.....i realized that last night when i was at PPM so iv added it here and im off to PPM and Freedom Studios to do the same there. See wiziwig we do all make mistakes......XD anymore comments?

hmm dont know why that would be exactly except for these possibilities
-you were online -you were playing it with TSR
so playing it online with TSR plus the repeating triggers like the meteors and the ion storm is probably why it lagged.
anyways any more comments?
darn i miss the mini text that we used before to have those lil comments :(
