If you like fast paced action, then you'll like this map...

I'm totally hoping for a spotlight!

Anyways, I hope you guys like this map! I worked long and hard on it. The lighting, in my honest opinion, is quite well done.. a destroyed, mutated post-apocolyptic world.



STORY: Humanity's last days are fast approaching and her last chapters are being written. It's up to you to battle it out to the end. THere was once a mighty city here, but it's nothing but ruins now... The citizens have moved west across the river to establish a smaller, more contained settlement. GDI and Nod were once here, but they both retreated as there was nothing worth fighting over.... until now. The citizens called GDI to evacuate them.. and someone has intercepted that transmission... Keep and eye out for the enemy.. they can attack fast and hard.

Easternmost Starting There was a large tiberium patch just south of those two refineries, but i harvested them up by the time i got the pic...




Again, there was lots more tiberium, but GDI harvested it all up...
You can see the total anal r8pe i laid out in this pic.

now like i said on MSN this map looks really good! i like the layout a lot. in fact i think the style of this map seems quite like wiziwigs style which IMO is a good thing as all of wiziwigs maps are classic smile.gif
the terrain looks good. i like.

i will try and play this soon and give you a full review of it.

I don't have enough time to test the map right now, but what I can tell from the screenshots the map looks very good. Only the green lighting looks a little too bright (to me), try tweaking it a little wink1.gif
I'll test the map when I have the time smile.gif

well i played it ingame today tongue.gif

and about the only complaint i have is the lighting. i think you need to:

-tone down the brightness of both the green and blue light posts.
-lessen the area in which both of them make their colors.
-tone down the redish color near that hand of nod in the top corner

i think if you do that it will look even better wink1.gif


it looks very good ingame. unfortunately because of my lag last night while online i forgot to dl the newer version to so i played on the older version. so ill dl the newer version now before i forget. ^_^

Ok so i played the map, i liked the layout of the map and the map itself wasnt bad either but i dont think this should get a spotlight, mainly because of one thing, theres too much open space (especially on the west side) and is a bit flat near the village on the left side.

yes i have played the map daTS, its good but not that good.
the map is good but its such a small map i think the detail could have been better in some areas.
this is a map that gets dull verry fast mainly because its small, so there is not that much to see.
for those of use that explore the map it always nice to see alot of detail ^_^
the maps layout is good but its missing that extra something to make it worthy of a spotlight.

EDIT: there seems to be something wrong with the bridge, it wont fix. well the upper part of it anyway, was thinking its the swamp, thus i removed it but the upper part of the bridge still wont fix.

hmm it appears the bridge problem still exists daTS. for those that dont know why it wont fix its more than likely the length of the bridge. i suggest you put the support for the upper side a little more away from the little land area there so it cuts that bridge segment more evenly. (thanks for TitanMarkII telling me that a bridge can be too longand and that the max length is somwhere around 15 cells long.)

and yes i loved the map but i also havent gotten to play the updated version just yet. iv been a little busy. but their points are valid im afraid. it could use just a little more cliffs for eyecandy purposes and a little less flatness in the areas mentioned. BUT the reason i really like it is because it just seems well classic IMO.

he duse not have to add anything. there are some good parts in the map like in the the first pic daTS posted, but there schould be more of that. as Ixith sayes: a little more cliffs for eyecandy purposes and a little less flatness in the areas mentioned.
the layout is really good, that bridge is a big plus, it just needs to be worked out a bit better.

i'm betting daTS next map will be alot better.
