The original thread contains a lot of dated image so I will only post the most up-to-date ones, you get the idea anyway.
I worked really hard on this terrain, it was revamped twice since Twisted Insurrection began, I again thank Droke for help with some terrain textures!














This is a gate entrance to the Interior Theater which will only be seen in Campaign maps.
The gate itself was rendered by Joshy, the cliff style is Outdated and will be replaced eventually... eventually.

Redid the pavement again and some remade the urban circle details (Thanks to Droke's assistance!). I was pretty lazy when making this shot and didn't detail the maps but you get the gist of it.

I must say, a billion times better than the original WW terrain. Had you guys been around when they were making TS, you coulda made some good money.

In my opinion the new grass looks pretty much the same as the old one (except that it's a bit brighter), but the terrain is still awesome.

It looks realy good and I like the detail [can't wait when this comes (is it this year or next year we'll see it?)].

Only thing I would change is making more than one grass tile (because it's a small bit bland, sorry).

Thanks to helping hand from Mig Eater, I have finally gotten around to replacing the TS Trees in Twisted Insurrection. So far I have only replaced the stock TS Trees, but most of the old TI trees will also be replaced and or remastered. Keep your eyes open, I have many more previews to come.

I hope some of the trees won't be that living/colourful when you get them finished. Reminds me a bit of RA2. In a bad way. Ignoring those colors they do look better and more realistic than the old trees though.

Well not all of them will look like that of course, I'll probably reduce the amount of green on the healthy trees for the reasons you stated.
Here is our set of Blue Zone Trees: I'll get some images of each new tree type in their habitats soon.



We have plenty of Tree Sets to chose from:

- Green/Healthy
- Green/Half-Healthy
- Yellow/Dying
- Brown/Dead
- Burned/Dead
- Broken/Dead
- Bushes/Healthy

- Flora/Mutated

I like the post above me. That screenshot looks better. Though in your update, (the first time you updated) I notice some shore errors.

What's so unusual there? I can see how the shore pieces connect to eachother just like they should, even without framework mode.

i don't think anything is...but the two spots in my picture that i circled in blue do look a bit weird, though i think that's more due to the fact that those shore tiles aren't quite the same as the others and thus it makes them look weird but not wrong.

To me it looks.. quite close to temperate.

Trees don't change the way the ground under them looks though.
