So...summer... a time of playing out in the typically hot and humid weather. Set back and relax in the shade, play in the sun, or go swimming are some typical activities in that nice hot and humid weather.

But again...I said typically that's what summer is like...

Let me just post what tomorrow's weather looks like for my area....

Sat, July 18
Partly Cloudy
High of 68°F
Low of 50°F

oh have I mentioned that we have only broke 90°F maybe 3 times when it's usually about 90°F the entire summer in my area?
Also worth mentioning is that this spring we lacked our typical flooding. In the past we have gotten one big flood somewhere around the time during late March - early May area. But instead we just a few light rains.

This also makes you wonder why they don't call it Global Temperature Fluctuation instead of Global Warming. But really I think they should call it Global f*ckage.

Anyways...I'm kinda curious as to any other abnormalities that are happening in the weather for other areas. So yea...discuss!

I just moved to Oklahoma. I'm renting a home in Lawton/Fort Sill, but it won't be ready for another few days, so for now I'm staying with a friend who lives on a ranch outside of the small town of Duncan.

Weather abnormalies? Around this time, we aren't supposed to be getting too much rain. I've been here for a month and a half with my friend, and for half of those days it's been pouring cats and dogs. There have been two tornadoes a few towns over. In the few days it hasn't been raining, the humidity has been through the roof, the highest temp I saw was 115°F. One of the horses on the ranch collapsed due to heat exhaustion. At this very moment, another storm is coming and is only a few minutes away.

Here we usually have over 20'C temperatures almost every day from late June to the halfway of August, but so far the hottest days of this year have been in late May (about 20'C). And right now we get 10'C and there are heavy rains/thunderstorms about three/four times in a week... while we should have the hottest days of the summer in the halfway of July (right now).

Now its pretty average here (in my room)... 20.1 C // 69.3 F...
But there were some days it was 28 C // 82 F in my room, which sucks. At that time I didn't have summer holidays officially, but I didn't have to go to school. But I had to make some essay, so I was at my room. Bleh...

Outside it's now 15 C // 59 F

Standard summer over this way; 90F to 100F. Although we've had a slight cold front come from Canada, so it cooled down to around 70 and 80F.

This summer has been way too cold and wet. What month is this again?

Supposed to be in the 90's here during the summer and it's barely reached the high 70's!! dry.gif

As Corsair said, a cold front came through from up north (Canada.) so it's cooling down a little, although it rained again last night and it's still raining in small pockets across the state.

Hate to bump a topic, but its not like it matters, anyway, it rained Most of May Here in New Hampshire (USA), and It rained i would say 90% of the days in June, and then July was pretty sunny, but it did rain a little bit about 20% of the days that month, then August has been the same as july, but we have had definitly more rain than normal, I can say I have never seen so much rain in one time period then this late spring/summer time, as far back as I can remember.
