lol yea we had high winds last night. The weather online said occasional gusts of winds up to 50MPH however those gusts happened quite often. In fact I thought there was a tornado outside or something. I even checked all the TV Channels that have the local weather on them to see if there was any warning or anything. Now it says wind gusts up to 40MPH for today. wacko.gif frickin krazy!

Weird, Here in north central Texas, dry conditions coupled with sustainded winds of over 45+mph (75km/h) with gusts at above 60mph (100km/h) caused an outbreak in wildfires yesterday, and although it's not as strong today, the wind is still blowing like crazy.

Ahh so you live in Texas too... I live waaayyyy close to the border with Mexico, and I'm in the Army, (I live with my Dad, actually he's in the Army) so if you look I guess you can pretty much find out where I live. The wind was CRAZY. Friggin sandstorm and whatnot.

EDIT: The wind was just as bad today down here. I saw a little kid almost get blown away. lol.gif

Here in Holland there is also a lot of wind today, even up to 110 km/h (don't know that amount in m/h). Anyways, it didn't caused much damage, only some more traffic jams, and an angry Dutch kid who doesn't like riding a bike in the wind tongue.gif

Lucky, you got snow. I've lived in the desert for so long, I ALMOST forgot what snow looked like, until it snowed just a few weeks earlyer. In the friggin desert! I mean, jeez, snow in the desert...

The winds are mostly calm now, but I had to walk through a field of tumbleweeds laying in the road to get to school. I don't live very far from there, and it sucks.

Can't wait till I graduate.

You should've seen it over here about an hour ago. There was a barrage of hail and the wind was terrible, I actually saw fully grown men getting pushed backwards by the winds. The noise was doing my head in.

If you mean by "down south," I hope you mean south of you, and not Louisiana and Mississippi. I just moved from there...

It's the winter, and it's always freezing here in the desert mornings, but it just got really HOT. Like 90F. It was below freezing just this morning at 8:00!
