Sorry I keep asking (probably noobish) questions, but you can't learn without asking questions, or something like that.

Now then, to my question, I'm trying to convert the pallet of one of the civilian buildings to that of the regular buildings, so I can use the Remap colors on them. Thing is, the civi building I want to use is only properly seen (on XCC Mixer atleast) when I use the isotem.pal. I want to convert it so I can use the unittem.pal and use it's remap effects for a campaign I'm making based on the Forgotten. Is there any way I can properly do this? Help would be very appreciated for this.

open xcc mixer with isotem.pal
extract as png
change color palette to unittem.pal
convert the pngs with unittem.pal back to shp

How can I extract it as a PNG? Every time I right click it, and hit extract, it doesn't give me the png option. There's a copy option, but it keeps crashing the mixer on my laptop. Is there any other way?

i think you use the old version of xcc that has some bugs (e.g. the png support bug, that crashes the mixer)
take a look at this topic and download XCC Utils 1.45 U from cncvk.
then you can use pngs.

if you don't want to use this you can take your current version and use bmps instead. bmp works fine even with the old version.

Sorry to say, but I'm very new to converting files >< I tried that copy and paste as png thing down, but when I switch to the unittem.pal and copy the png and paste as SHP, it still requires the isotem.pal, plus it has 3 frames that are basically blurry and one frame that holds all the ones that are supposed to be frames... As for BMPs, I've no clue how to work with them v.v
