My sister told me about this site, what you do is fill out the survey about your energy consumption,

4.5 hectares as opposed to 5.3 of the UK. Dunno why they don't do it in acres for the UK, I believe it comes to around 11 acres for me.

I got a total footprint thing of 13. mainly due to my food consumption thing which was 5.4. My mobility was a low 0.5, my shelter was a 3.2 and my Goods/Services was a 3.5.

Well since I live in the US for the next 2 years I did my American one:

But since I spend half my time back home in the world's greatest country, I did a Canada one, and got this:

Which doesn't make sense because I live in the same style in both nations. Put most of the answers as the same (use more mass transit down here) confused1.gif

EDIT: Just noticed that they are in 2 different measurements, and I figured out why for people who are asking:

Acres= Imperial system
Hectares= Metric system (which AFAIK the UK is on)

I didn't know on some questions, on those I answered the middle alternative.

If everyone lived like me, we'd need 2.1 planets.

If everyone lived on indian diet, we'd have food for 15 billions, on italian about 5 or 6 I think, and on american about 3 O.o

BlackieChan, you do see that the american one is in acres and not hectars? lol

my score seems to be affected by three acres by the fact that I have some source of meat daily.
I cant imagine that cattle raising is that much less efficient than growing crops
especially since crops provide a great deal of the cattle feed which helps offset
the inefficiency of modern crops.

It's strange. Even though I'm fairly eco-friendly, I seem to be above what should be.

However, the quiz is flawed. It totally missed the part about water consumption. And the fact that it varies greatly where you live - it just makes too much difference...
