new forum skin Options

Hi

First a big for the new skin and that is was done so fast.
But i have a problem with the new skin.
Every link has now the same color as normal text, so it's hard to recognize them. Please change links to green color as they were before the attack.

I haven't found any other problems, but if they are more, this topic could be used to collect them.

btw, i found the old animated banner better. The new one looks good too, but it's too tiberian wars like. The ion storm scene of the old one represents better the whole tiberian series imo.

I Have noticed a problem, too. On the Silo Icon, Indicating that there is a new post in the specific forum. Once I've read all posts and returned to the forum index, the silo icon is still full (yellow). Even after I refresh the page multiple times, it still remains the same. Any idea's?

(This could just be my internet for some strange reason, as it only happens once in a while to me)

yea same here Aro. Though I think the full silo thing just means that there has been a recent post in there and that that section is active. While the non-filled silo ones are sections which did not have any recent posts. Then of course the damaged/about destroyed ones are the locked forums for the TD and TW mods.

I also agree with LKO here on the links needing to be something else than the white. Same goes with User names please.

I am loving the skin, the logo is VERY nice... i was about to offer to make one xD

Though, the skin is too dark, we need a better range of skins... perhaps just get a few stock ones and add custom logos?

I Know what the Icon(s) indicate. What I'm saying is that even though I've read all the posts in the forum and Sub-forums, the Icon is still yellow, which I believe is not mean't to happen, right?

hmmm well what I originally meant with that post was that even after reading them it stays full because it is still an active forum as there have been posts in the last X amount of time. But thats not true....

I did however go to the easiest/smallest forum section which was still full for me...the Tibweb news section and i read the news python had in there. When doing so the silo then went empty. Therefor my only guess is that perhaps you haven't read all the pages of every thread in that section? (I add the pages thing in there because I also entered each topic in here but it still says its full. Though I did not go to any 2nd pages though there aren't any in this section anyways...lol)

You can always click "Mark All As Read" to clear the Silo icon if it will not reset for you.

Thanks for the compliment on the logo. It took me a while to get a good effect, but I decided kane would make it epic.

The old one, unless we can find the ORIGINAL sized lightning logo that I made, won't be making a comeback anytime soon. Sadly, it is either lost too deep in my HDD for me to find, or was erased forever.
