TibSun.Mix Options

I had to reinstall my TS, due to the fact that the folder became way to confusing for me, seeing how it was giving IEs in game and I had no idea which files were doing it... So I uninstalled it, removed all the other mix files that added stuff (Not including the ones for Final Fun) then I reinstalled it... So I try to run Final Sun, but it gave me this error:

Tiberium Sun is not correctly Installed (TibSun.Mix could not be loaded)

If anyone can help me with this, thank you.

Copy tibsun.mix off one of your TS CDs and copy it into the TS root directory.

I use TFD... All the files on the CD come out as .CAB files for all the games... I've no clue how to get it off TFD cd.

Does TS work? If it does, you may need to manually locate your tibsun.mix file. It should be possible somehow, I can't recall off the top of my head. If it doesn't give the option directly, look for an ini file in the FinalSun folder that has something along the lines of directory path inside.

Well, when I look at the folder that TFD's TS goes to, the mix file is there... It's just Final Sun won't load it. Why, I don't know. Do I have to re-install Final Sun maybe? Because the game works fine. Even on Bittah's DTA mod, it works. But it wont for the map editor. :(

Aha, apparently you have to install the 1.02 path to solve it.

Thanks Claz. That helped. ^^ I didn't know I had to do that to get it working again. So that solves the mystery of why my Final Sun wouldn't load up. ^^;

Literally what it says, dowload the patch, worked for me, I was having the same problem
