Do you added an entry to the [InfantryTypes] list in rules.ini?
Do you even have an shp called nodsol.shp in an ecache02.mix file?

You have to extract the e1icon.shp from tibsun.mix/sidec02.mix, rename it so it doesn't replaces the other e1icon in sidec01.mix if you play gdi, pack it into an ecache02.mix file and use the new renamed icon for your infantry.

btw, if you want a separate light infantry for each side (Nod and GDI), you'll get problems with the ai using it. Because in the ai.ini it isn't used in any teamtype. So you'll have to make clones of the teams which are used by both sides and make side specific teams out of them.

ok got all that now why is it still invisible in battle?

I Have get that problem with the Redeemer unit when it deploys, and i found out the problem was because it wasn't listed in the building list. Are you SURE you've added it to the InfantryTypes list?
