Halo 3 12 pm tonight i haven't preorder but i entered for a free halo 3 x box 360

I've also been waiting for it's release. I still can remeber how much fun the first halo was & how much i hade abticipated the second's release. Now the third is here & for some reason I'm not even the least bit excited. what's wrong with me? anyways i'll pick up a copy soon enough. when i do, you wanna play with me? I'll prove to be mildly entertaining. i figure mainly through humor.

thats probably because the 2nd one wasn't all that much better than the first and probably because your starting to realize it really isn't all that great of a game. I mean sure its fun to play especially in large groups....but it truly isn't worth standing in line and being one of the first nor even bother trying to get as soon as possible.

I'm sure I will hear lots about it tomorrow as I know several people who are trying to get it first and standing in line for its release.

Well I guess the three major factors were that The 2nd game had a lot of physics errors that weren't ever worked out. (like the fact that many times I've played a normal slayer game with my friends & one of them I would shoot four sniper rounds square in the head & they wouldn't die, so i reload & shoot him once in the balls & then he dies. He didn't even have an over-shield)
The game was also very lacking compared to the first IMO. That & with every game I play, I'll be good at first, but gradually get worse. so now all i do on halo 2 really is goof around, not even trying to fight, unless someone gets on my nerves. Then I'll go out of my way to own them repeatedly.

To be honest I never really was a halo fan... I didn't play the second either.

I was supposed to be at the midnight release for it, but I overdrew my account because my f*cking crankshaft cracked and broke on my Jeep. Now I have literally 15 dollars in cash and that's it. Damn you Next-Day Air charges! AND DAMN YOU JEEP FOR BREAKING!

I preordered it though so my copy is reserved when I get my next paycheck.

Whoa, I never knew you guys were [kinda] into Halo... I wouldv've told you all to go to Halo 3 Believe sooner.
My friend's preordering [he's the only person that has 360] and he doesn't like Halo much so my friends and I chipped in and preordered the game and bought more controllers.

The good thing about Australian schools is that holidays are next week XP

Though I will eventually be getting/playing Halo 3, its not on my top list right now. I'm most anticipating the next Half-Life games, october 10th Episode 2 goes live, along with other games that look just as awesome. But after them, probably Halo 3.

I didn't think too much of the halo series, even after playing the first two games most of the way through about a year or two ago. However, I have, in the last two days completed Halo 1 (on normal) and most of Halo 2 (on heroic), and have loved every minute of it. Well, mostly (except for the last bit in the firt game with the damn warthog driving...). Just ordered Halo 3, and really looking forward to it ^_^

I finished with +30 seconds left, just take the short cuts. The only bad bit is the jump, that usually kills me.

ugh... i hate that final Halo 1 mission... Especially on Heroic... You gotta have EPIC driving skills.

The maw was my favorite level & that last bit was just plain fun for me. Always play the Maw on legendary. now halo 2 on the other hand....Meh. it's story was lasking in my opinion & the levels, even as diverse as they were, just didn't do anything for me.

By the way Halo three was released in the UK about a week before the US.

I loved Halo 1's single player missions. Yes, including the infamous 'Library.' I played all the missions on all settings repeatedly. Of course, I was about thirteen at the time so my friends and I had plenty of time to waste on games

Now, I hated Halo 2's single player The first two or three missions were fine, then it got into that whole alien Elite character that I just didn't give a rats ass about.

Both games multiplayer were pretty good though, in my opinion.

I got a chance to play some Halo 3 when a friend of mine brought his Box to the college, but it was only the multiplayer. I haven't gotten a chance to see the single player. But, so far it looks okay...

All in all, I'm just a casual gamer. My friend stood in the line for Halo 3 for about seven hours

Could of picked up halo 3 today, But skipped & bought burritoes instead. good thing i didn't get it though my vet bill was over $400 today.

So, Halo 3 came out yesterday. I heard it was sold out everywhere, but my friend and I went down to Zellers and he picked up a copy. We played the first 3 missions in co-op at his place in about 2 hours...

It was really freaking fun!
I would highly recommend it to anyone with a 360!

to be honest i dont really care about console games any more.
halo 1 was the best tho it may not have looked as good as no.2 but the story was way better

btw when i first playd halo i put it on legendary and beat it in like a day lol... ya im that good

I've never been a massive fan of the series but the multiplayer is still fun, especially when there's a few of you playing. Had a chance to play some of the game last night and it plays rather well. Control system is bizarre at first if you're used to Halo 2 but you'll pick it up quickly. I still haven't properly figured out the new weapons yet.
