Small Buildings art contest for TS! Options

Our swedish friend Denmon (who really cares about the 0728 part) has announced a new competition for the Tiberian Sun SHP artists out there. The idea is to create a small to medium sized building that can be used in Tiberian Sun. The competition will be supported by TiberiumWeb and PPM, and maybe even more sites. Check the rules below:

RULES
~ The base may not be larger then 2x2.
~ The height may not be taller then 2.
~ It must be for Tiberian Sun (in the size of the tiles).
~ Only one submision per capita.
~ It must be able to work bugfree ingame.
~ It is preffered that you include art and rules but it is not necessary.

That shouldn't be an issue, as long as the building is centered well within those cells.

If i Were to bet on this, I would say 50 Brittish pounds on LKO winning but Banshee Will give him the most difficult run. But I'm no possition to bet money right now. so good luck to all contestants.

You can post your building to public, but the contest is still alive. Just be a bit more patient. My life is a mess at the moment and I'll review the buildings as soon as I can. I still haven't got any review from The DvD and Von Kriplespac. Denmon isn't judging, because he is getting too much pressure from his school.

So I guess we should wait some more time, though I still think that we should post the buildings in one more week; if by doing so we're not going to get eliminated from the contest

it's the day after tomorrow. I think i don't make an extra topic for the download and wait till the contest is done. Then there will be a download too and all participants buildings together in a well arranged wise. But to shorten the time here some pics.

I made a new Base Defense called "Crystalisk". It is a triple Obelisk of Light with a hovering glowing Crystal Orb. It was planned as a Heavy Base Defense for either Nod or the Scrin.

That's a very nice building - very scrin-like I'd say..
I'd post previews of mine, but I'm kind of against posting previews before it's put up for download, as it takes away the whole surprise of posting it to the public IMO.

If you want LKO, go ahead and send it to me in PM, and I'll post it up with mine & machine's in a brand new topic in the shp forum.
Anyone else who's made buildings for this contest can do the same.

i don't think there is any eagerness left, it's more like "damn, bring this to an end. It should have been done 2 months ago"

I've send you a PM, but deleted the pics here. So it's up to you. If you want you can release them or not. I wouldn't have anything against waiting another 2 months.

oh come on, why don't you want to show your work? It can't be so bad. And at least you spend time to make it, so it has its right to be in the pack.
And sooner or later it's published anyway at ppm, when the contest is done.

It can't be a bad attempt, even if it was your first or not. Also, even if the main purpose of the contest was to show off your skills, it will also show you the best constructive criticism you can get (if it is objective), so in the end it will enable you to improve your work; which is a more important reason to participate than just showing off
