Hi After quite a long time i want to offer a new unit. This time a naval unit. It's a big battleship for GDI. Story: Build at the end of the first Tiberian War and planned as a command unit for naval actions against Nod Bases along the African coast, this ship was put in service one month after the war ended. Planned as a first strike ship, it became GDIs most important vessel for naval operations around the globe. But finally the Tiberium infestation made it nearly impossible to use naval units, because of dangerous tiberium mutants and algae. Especially smaller ships where in danger. Even if the Aurora is still able to move on the oceans due to its size and strong engines, without an escort it wasn't profitable and were put out of service. (this way Buildlimit=1 could be explained) The ship can use 1 (the centre) turret while driving. But it can also deploy and then use all of the Turrets. It has 3 big triple gun turrets 10 medium twin turrets 4 small twin AA turrets The zip with all shps and art/rules.ini examples (new version 1.3):

this looks VERY nice. I really like it especially the driving animation effect. It looks awesome like that. One hell of a battle ship for sure. Also one hell of a good piece of work. I say Spotlight.

Spotlighted. This is plain incredible, LKO  looks like SHP is a really good format for naval vessels I think the wake in the moving anim is too bright though, but yeah I know that's a bugger with the limited shades of blue on the pallet.. The deployed version I think might be best as a 1x3, like the Montauk...

thanks for the spotlight. still too bright? I think a little bit darker is still possible. \Edit version1.2 uploaded with darker wateranim Foundation 1x3 doesn't work because the foundation expands only to the southwest. So the stern will never be covered by the building, but rather occurs a nearly empty building cell in the far southwest. btw, i added firing animations for this unit to the first post.

looks like its floating on plasma or somethin... i suggest that you make the waves or wahtever more white.

I thought it should be darker to fit with the ingame water. Or do you mean the first 1 or 2 frames after the initial particle spawn where they are white? So the end fading color is ok but only the starting color should be fixed? @Team Black thanks for the hint to redo the deployanim. I think now it's almost perfect and it fits very well in the 1x3 foundation now.

I think you should go with white, grey and if you must insist on having blue plasma thingy, then keep it short.

I don't know, but more white makes it look odd in ts water, because ts doesn't has animated water at all (no white wave animations that would make the ship waves fit into it), so i really think it's necessary to blend into the water using more blue than white. Do you like the first version best? I think i'll let it how it is now, except some major errors occur like green/purple pixel.
