More TS online ownage!! I figure since you can't save online games, I'd just take screenies an post em up for all to see, as my "trophy"

So here goes: It's another simple online SE2K map, I was red. it was East vs West, and I had built a firestorm wall from top to bottom. light blue got his MCV blown up, so I gave him one of mine (unally > capture > ally again). Pink was going all out with bomber attacks, and knocked East off balance a little.
I got the Firewall complete across the entire map, and then thought I'd do some attacking of my own. Eventually I gathered up the army that you see in the pic. Both me and pink put our ghost-stalkers in the APC. PWNT!
In the end I finished second. Eh, 2 out of 6 aint bad...

Team Black, that map is hideous. Why do you do that to yourself? It also gives GDI an advantage, as they can just pavement the area and use their superior bombers to win. That and carryalls...

these maps, yes, are hideous and any newb can meke them in their sleep.
However, it's all th onliners really play. The few who play ww maps only play forest fires and aree extreemely rude for the most part.
This map NOd is also given a carryall as well, though mostly everyone picks GDI for this map anyways...

never heard of those, why don't build defenses next to important building's? It is wherry useful it have saved me on many games.

the reason why I clustered the pp's next to each other like that was because of the base size restrictions and we had agreed to not use SW's unless they came from crates

Well, perhaps I'm just paranoid but I figured that most minor attacking forces would go for your defences and it'd be annoying if they kept damaging your WarFact/TibRef without even trying.

I'm just nervous about Commando or Superweapon tactics - OR ORCA BOMBERS ARGHHH!

At least it's not as bad as in Red Alert 2 where if you had clumped structures a single Kirov could deal so much damage that you'd never recover!

Does TS Retro have Orca transports that actually WORK? Anyway, i 'aint played TS in ages. Unfortunately, i accidentaly deleted my folder which had my own mods in it, instead of deleting the one that didn't work. As soon as i reinstall TS, i'll try and post a pic of a base ^^

yea, but in order to do that you have to make em carryall=yes, so it's not really a perfect system.
What's cool is that they've found that it will parachute its passengers if it's given the right kind of weapon. That's in TS: Retro as well, and if you look, there's I think there's a tutorial on how to do that too...
