So... Supreme Commander pretty much kicks ass, I <3 the Galaxy Class Options

So I got it yesterday (along with a new video card)... I played skirmish as the Cybran.... and KICKED SOME UEF ASS! I anhialated them with my Tech III Artillery (which was placed inside MY base accross the map) and 1 Galaxy Class Battleship sitting in a lake in the middle. I lost only 2 units to their 420. I was only able to get one game in last night before sleep took me over and I went to bed at about 12:30am. I'll try and get another round in tonight.

This game is inspiringly fun... I'm thinking to myself at the moment: "Tiberian Sun: Dawn Of The Infinate War" as a TS Mod Name (In reference to SupCom as a Total Conversion for TS).. My B.N.S. Sarajevo voxel was very Cybran-ish as Muldrake called it, so I know the units will be nicely done.. I think it could be pulled off (with a few modifications of course)

but yeah... those are my General views on the game and how it can be modded into TS

I like to play with UEF, and own Cybrans.

Dunno - I don't own/can't play at all the game... and I don't want to learn it - so it is boring and slow...

holy sh*t it's not slow and boring! I f*cking love it! Turtlers or rushers have their advantages... turtlers can build up a stout defense, and rushers can access tech pretty early to get some strong stuff. The system or resources is brilliant, I love the way the tech levels are laid out.

No, it is slow. The game is very boring until you have enough resources to keep afloat while you're building units, then it rapidly speeds up. The first 20 minutes are very dull as you try and get a few tech 3 power plants and some mass fabricators constructed.

Then again, if you want really really really quick battles, play Total Annihalation on the map, Metal Heck, or Seven Islands (if you want Naval Warfare)

EDIT: My friend also said that this game is pretty dull for almost a half hour until it's finally time to attack, due to the fact that unit production is a lot slower than that of TA.
