This map will be temperate and for 2-4 players. There is a city in the Northwest bordered by a wall and there will be the ruins of a city in the Southeast. the very vast majority will be in the mutated wilds between the two, so your harvesters will haev to travel far and compete for the same tiberium.. This map will appeal to those that like city combat and those who like a more natural setting. there will be moving vehicles, a big ion storm trigger, and probably a few meteor triggers. Its should be released in a few weeks.

Wow, this is looking really good.

It's interesting, you start in one area, get all the detailing and stuff, then keep going around...

What I do is do the whole map, just the cliffs first, then do the finer detailing afterwards..

Looks very promising


I would suggest using the Terrain Expansion (TX) for this sort of map so you can have lots of extra Urban LAT's etc

personally i dont think the green in that 1st pic is too much. but if you do tone it down it would be to give the mold there a more dark look to it.

its looking good. and like Crashking had said you wouldnt have been able to submit this into the SMMC if you had converted it mainly because youv posted a few pics of it before hand even though they werent finished it doesnt really matter. Although the judges probably wouldnt have been able to tell that it was the same as those earlier pics.

Well i've made a fair amount of progress. At this rate it might be done by sunday night, depending. I also made some fairly minor changes to the overall lighting, and it look much better IMO...
