Origin of Chameleron, The Vehicle in C&C Renegade Options

Most of you know of the Extras Enabled command on some servers in Renegade and know of the NoD Extras vehicle the Chameleon


But do you know where the idea came from???
I found it on cncworld.org on the left side where it says WESTWOOD and underneath it, it says some stuff, and one of the things it says is "End of Westwood Pics" on the second page it has these pics:

You may recognise it from Renegade.


That is sweet, it would be awesome to have a remote controlled Chameleon to chew things up!!!
