I run the latest version of Firefox.. only one tab open..

and

436,938 KB of memory usage?

Wow, half a freakin gig just goin into nowhere!!??
I wouldn't've thought that were possible...that's a honking LOT of memory.

I expect you already ran task manager...that's about all I'd know how to do.
