We call it as harmonic resonance. It can be conducted in reality, albeit very difficult. You have to create a soundwave that vibrates at the natural vibrating frequency of an object, say, glass (all objects have their own specific frequency when vibrated). Resonance forces matter in objects to shake at maximum amplitude, ending the object in pieces. Interesting, huh?
