These large vehicles can repair even the largest units on the battle-field in a matter of moments. In order for a vehicle this large to maintain a necessary movement pace, heavy armor had to be sacrificed. However, if you have a large army of tanks to repair, it's much quicker to use both the repair bay and this vehicle to repair them than just using the vehicle. Also the vehicle is very weak and easily destroyed.
