Some may know this, and some may not.
I discovered this when I played the VERY old TS Ultima Mod.

If anyone here has played it, (I know ORCACommander/Bloodreign has) you probably noticed that Banshee, Orca Fighter, and Orca Bomber have different art/images, but same voxel name. So I created an aircraft, and gave it Image=ORCAB. When I turned on TS, I'd build the aircraft. As it rose, I got an IE.

Point is:It was reading the new art, and not Westwood's.
It wasn't the mod, because I took Ultima Mod's orcab.vxl and .hva and put it in my own mix. Still got the IE. But then I tested it on a different aircraft with no new image. (Nighthawk (EMP))

As a sidenote:I discovered this year agos.

The problem is that Ultima Mod's orcab.vxl looks much more different from Westwood's and its called "Javelin Bomber" on the Name key. The new art is in the mod's very own expand02.mix in the SUN folder.

It would be like the diagram below if you have the mod.

All the original mixes.

tibsun.mix--->local.mix
local.mix-->orcab.vxl AND orcab.hva

Download the mod, take the two mixes. ecache02.mix, and expand02.mix

expand02 has all the voxels, and hvas.

SUN folder--->expand02.mix
expand02.mix--->orcab.vxl AND orcab.hva. <----New graphics.

The main problem is that Javelin Bomber uses new graphics, but when you try to code it, it can't read the original graphics because expand02.mix is there. I don't explain things too well. You might be able to find Ultima Mod 2.5 at filefront still so check there if you want to test it.
