Protected Maps, IDK how to. Options

I have about 10-20 maps from playing on XWIS, I can open a couple on Final sun and mod them, but when I try to open some they automatically crash it, when I open some of them up with notepad the creators have left warnings in them saying that you cant modify them.

I can still modify the values of the units in them, just mot the map itself in FS

The maps still play on Firestorm and TS

I was wondering if anybody knows how to do that.

i should direct you to This Topic on PPM. Go down to like the 7th post (3rd by thread starter) and he says how he found how to do that from another place. Though his crappy map he posted afterwards was complete and utter BS in value and why anyone would even have half a mind to want to rip his map would be beyond me.

But then again...why anyone would want to rip any map or why the original creator would truly care all that much is beyond me. Especially if you put it out for public assets. I might understand in a mod where it would be another source of security for your mod assets but meh.
