so....here's a map for you all to enjoy once your hangover is over...

EDIT: Forgot to remove the reveal map trigger that we typically use for pic taking without the shroud. Went and took the trigger out and re-uploaded...sorry about that. (Though i suppose anyone with finalsun could just easily go in and click disable or remove it themselves or even in notepad they could do that)

Map Info:
Name: A City Consumed (2-4)
Map Maker: Ixith
Map Size: 100x100
Players: 2-4
Theatre: Temperate
Info: This city doomed by the tiberium that surrounds it has made for the perfect spot to harvest the plentiful tiberium.
The region is great for 2v2 battles or free for all. There is plenty of build room for full tech battles and should be more than enough tiberium to make your armies rich. There are quite a few triggers put into the map such as day/night loops, evacuation for the civilians, and various other stuff concerning tiberium life.

Story: The City once known as Strishnin suddenly found itself closed in by tiberium. In fear they turned to GDI for help. Now as commanders of both GDI and Nod reach the city limits, GDI is sending out evacuation transports for the civilians left alive. The only path left for this is city is to be consumed by tiberium and war.

I personally think the lighting is a bit over-done, but apart from that it looks really great. smile.gif

and just where and how do you think it's over done?

I'm going to f*ck this map in its sleep. But yeah, I agree with crash on the lighting point, the Negative lamp posts are totally overkill.

similarly just how do you feel the negative lamps are overkill? oh btw...i should so totally quote you...so i will...

That lighting is beautiful. Really, It's the best lighting I've actually ever seen on any map screenshot. I'm not joking. Excellent work, Ixith.

that quote can be found In this thread on the second page

BTW, I loked at the trigger editer and found the event/action pulldown box only had a number, if you can can you list the numbers and there options please?

i can't be bothered to do thatt at this very moment and i won't place it in this topic but i will post a new topic somewhere with all of that sometime soon unless someone can remember if there was already a thread like that. However, i'm kinda curious as to what's wrong with your finalsun because you say that nothing shows in the drop down menus of your trigger sections in final sun and i noticed on one of your maps that hardly anything gets put into the basic section of the map which is something that automatically gets filled out as a 'standard' due to an ini file. did you download finalsun following a link from here or did you get it from somewhere else. also you haven't modded any of the finalsun ini files have you? (i would presume that you haven't but it's worth asking)

anyways thanks for the comments guys.
