Below I have uploaded 2 actual multiplayer co-op maps

The first one is a fairly known about map to find on XWIS, called "Scandinavian Defense". It is a co-op multiplayer map in which the AI comes in waves.
The other map is called "Civie Fright" by someone named "User 68". We tested this map together, but he's long since disappeared.

The player's units DO automatically target the Neutral House. The Neutral House is counted in the game as a 'player' and is even brought up in the end score screen in the grey color.

The only thing is, you need 1 AI player so all of the humans can ally with each other. Al lthe players then kill or capture that AI from the start.
(all players start within walls, so that when the AI deploys, it doesn't have room to build anything - the players simply move out of the walls)

I haven't looked too much into how this is done. Like, at all.
I know traditionally, I would have more information on how to do it, etc. for the Advanced Discussion, but as you may be able to see with the Scandinavian Defense map, my Final Sun screws up the ini code of the map, making it very difficult to edit it or even read it it with notepad (no, it's not "word wrap" either)

If you notice, "Civilian" is a choice in the side drop down menu, as it is MultiplayPassive=False.
I have no idea if this is necessary to make the map work, though it's possible the computer will randomly choose this side and, 'has no buildings to build' which is what will happen if you choose that side as well. (hosts always tell the players not to choose the civilian side)

probably the best solution to this is to edit the map text to list 1 building that is Owner=Civilian for all of the AI building commands (BuildPower etc.) just to prevent the error.

I tried that while you were typing that post, and it didn't crash anymore biggrin.gif So, now we know how to make Neutral an AI player without crashing the game.

AFAIK the sides the computer chooses from are defined in Game.exe.. I remember reading a tutorial somewhere on how to add a third side there. Don't remember where it was though.

However, in this case there already was one AI player playing the Neutral/Civilian house.
