This was and is the very first voxel I started, which I just now took the liberty to present! (Note: This tank is for my mod. I will release anything and everything created by me.)

The M1A7 Battle Axe is revolutionary, not evolutionary. As prices raise due to the war and several other events taking place all across the globe, both GDI and Nod are forced to look into cheaper ways of conflict. As the production of the Titan and the HMLRS become less ideal, GDI was forced to design a comepletely new toy; The M1A7. Using a slightly modified M1A2 body, first designed during the first Tiberium war, the M1A7's speed is what many have called "unnatural."

The lightweight hull of the tank is due to the fact that it is made of an alloy rarely used, but cheaply made. The tank has only five inches of armor, with a two inch layer of reactive armor on the outside. This medium tank has the armor of a heavy tank, but with the speed of a light recon tank. The tank also has a small engine, another modified M1A2 part. What makes this tank so deadly, though, is the fact that it has a single barrel rapid-fire cannon, a weapon design used only in the M1A7. The tank fires small, AP rounds, which explode a split second after making contact. Although most cannons on tanks fire nearly the same type of rounds, these are belt-fed and are fired in quick succession after one another, usually just under a second each.

As the engine is exposed, the rear of the tank is the weakest spot. A single well-placed grenade or a rocket fired true may greatly slow down the tank. It also has a large gap uder the barrel, a single round fired in the spot may kill the gunner. Because of these weaknesses, the tank is still considered to be in developement, but because of the war it has already been pressed into combat.

What makes the tank revolutionary is that is only has a crew of two, a driver and a gunner. The tank reloads automatically after a belt is wasted, so there is no need for a loader. The tank also has an onboard computer which automatically targets the biggest threat in the area, but can be overridden by voice command to target another enemy. There also is a small "scope" which the gunner may look into, which gives them a nearly 360 degree view of the area.

I'm open to any comments. Rate me or something. I really want to know how I did for my first voxel. Ahh!

(Note: The "error" in the pic has been fixed. Also, the barrel is a little off, but I made it that way on purpose.)

I don't mean to sound horrible, but I disagree with the spotlight. This tank looks good from some facings, but in other facings it just looks like a little blob of color and resembles nothing of a tank. confused.gif
