I had an idea... You propably know the issue of the Covert Ops scenario files and also additional ones you made yourself or got from the web, all in your C&C directory, some in MIX-files, some standalone (BIN/INI). I guess you also already had to rename a new mission, because it's number was already taken and the difficulties in keeping track which numbers are still available, since even in the official Covert Ops MIX they are not in consecutive order but for example G22, G23, G36.... you see, G24, G25, ... , G35 all left out...

My idea is to make a little program or script to just extract all SC*.MIX files in a folder, while already fixing possible double numbers, then giving new numbers to them so they all are in a row, so you can easily tell what numbers are already taken and which not because you now have SCG20EA up to, lets say, SCG52EA taken, so you now from G53 on upwards it's still free. After that it would repackage them to MIX-files, alternatively keeping those which were together in one MIX or just making up new MIX-names, e.g. SC-B30 for numbers SCB30EA up to SCB39EA (this would be the user's choice, which he prefers.)

The best aim would be to make this "Defrag" program so simple to use even people who don't know much about mission editing and filenames could use it.

Do you think this could be done? Perhaps it could utilize MMLITE to do this stuff?
Is perhaps such a program already out there?

If not could someone tell me how to make MMLITE extract ALL missions from a MIX file? Or if MMLITE cannot do this, tell me how you could do it? Then I would try myself to write such a program.
