Firstly, i would like to say that i was Derox, but for today, nobody knows me as Derox anymore exept you guys. Second, ive been reading the forums from time to time and even now im not gonna stay long. Why i posted this topic is because recently, i found an old map when cleaning up the TS folders. I remembered that i had been working on a map that was almost complete, but something happened, i left the community. While i was looking at the map i felt that it would of been a shame by not posting a map that had all of its terrain finished. Although i soon noticed that it was no way near completion due to the fact that it had absolutely horrible lighting and no triggers what so ever. I still didnt feel right by not posting something i had worked hard on, so i thought i'd patch it up and post it non the less. This is probably the first map where i have edited the .ini file of the map. As i said i probably wont be here for long but who knows...
Here's the map -

Name-Tiberian Olympus (Tiberian Heaven)
Terrain set-Temperate
Players-2-3
Tiberium infestation-Heavy
Starting positions-Center of the map in a triangular shape
Water-About 35% of the map
Terrain-Bumpy
Build space-Critical, i'd advise you to build as close as you can
Briefing-Not much to say here besides the terrain is pretty much your enemy. Slopes and hills slow down you vehicles, Tiberium infestation will kill your soldiers, meteor showers that may hinder your plans. Basically everything from small tiberium fiends to the all mighty Ion Storm. Also note that the bridge repair huts are placed strategically, use them for your advantage.

hmm seems like an interesting map.

heres a finalsun review
-didnt see any cliff errors provided i didnt look too hard
-didnt pay much attention to the shores but i dont think i saw anything
-cliffs were ok but could be a little better
-slopes were awesome IMO there are a lot and you can really tell that they will affect gameplay by slowing tanks down some
-at first glance at the minimap you think the bottom player would have an advantage being closer to the VHM but when i looked in finalsun i noticed that he was also farther away from his normal tib fields than the other players. or at least it seemed so. So it all evened out in the end.
-from the pics your lighting looks ok. i suggest lighting up the green and blue molds just a little to put some lighting accents on them.

and thats it for now. as i haven't looked at it for too long yet. good job. shame your not staying around for much longer. you could become really good at mapping.
