Tiberium duse not spread?!, an other blow to CNC? Options

its been buzzing around the communitie for a few days now.
tiberium wont grow outside the designed field its in, this is one of the most fundamental things in the tib universe, tiberium grows everywhere!
how is it they make tiberium more dangerous but it wont even spread, duse this make any sence to anyone? only logic reason i have is that its comes in the way of the so "wonderfull" fast gameplay :confused:

Does Tiberium not spread in Tiberium wars? It does for me, when my haverster has cleaned a tiberium field it regrows.
