Well the Infantry I was making, it's finished, well at least in the RA2 stile, since I still have to paint the blood in it to make a TS version, althought I think that blood in such a suit doesn't fit. What do you think?, should I add blood to the TS version?  Preview of the sizes TS and RA2; TS vesion is of a similar of the cyborg, RA2 version is a bit bigger than a conscript. Anyways, here's the download TS and RA2 sizes  I hope you like it :biggrin:

wow, the new version is great! the death anim looks good. but in future don't use the shpbuilder anim generator. instead extract the frames with xcc and use a gif animator tool for better/correct colors. what i still don't like is the shield. it's in my opinion too big. it looks to heavy. but the prone anim is really great, holding the shield in front. A more modern shield would make this unit perfect. Another little con is the fireanim, that shouldn't be blue, but rather yellow fire like. But right now it is almost perfect so you don't need to make it again. so i can only agree with El D34dlyto and say QUOTE (El D34dlyto @ Feb 14 2007, 09:46 AM)  Spotlight this baby. and give this guy his first spotlighted unit P.S. an idea for future infantry units if you look on the original inf you can see that the shadows go towards the player (the light source should be behind the unit in the North) , but the units body is lighted from front (the light source should be in the South) maybe you just try to put the light source near the camera for the normal unit frames, and for the shadow frames behind the unit. Maybe this way the darkness on the shield disappears and the unit looks more bright and clear.

If I remember correctly, you said to me once that machine guns were overused; and that's a reality in my mod, so I have modified the colours, having 3 different types, for small arms; blue (gauss guns), green (tiberium based guns) and the ordinary yellow/orange (normal guns). About the shield I like that way, big shield+big powersuit = big shocktrooper which is also usefull as a heavy riot trooper, instead of using big police squads, the GDIwould send just a couple of these guys  BTW I also think that a small shield+big powersuit = useless shield, because it would leave too many areas uncovered
