But I thought 3ds2vxl only converts 3ds into vxl, not gmax into vxl...
EDIT: Rendering??? How do I do that? (In GMax)

Do you can not export Gmax models in 3ds format? I dont know.
I never used Gmax but i heard that Gmax can't render (it should be only a 3dmodel creating tool), what makes it actually worth to use 3dsmax. Thats why i think Blender could be good alternative, because its free too, and it can render afaik.
