So my main modding computer got hardcore raped. It ended up with a virus in the BIOS (thanks to my younger brother), and I now have to purchase a new Motherboard, Processor, and Hard disk. I will have no modding capabilities for a good while. I lost everything.. and i mean EVERYTHING.. including *ALL* XTX and Tiberian Odyssey work.

Sorry guys.. it's not looking pretty for the next few weeks.

a BIOS virus doesnt cause a CPU overheat dude
the reason a CPU overheats is lack of cooling coupled with doing alot of work
so it would seem to indicate that you have a cooling problem in your case, or your heatsink fan was not working at the time
or it was a random occurence

so it was just a plain old virus
just to clear that up
