new redalert forum Options

i dunno i just felt like making a new redalert forum besides im sure some of you will still like redalert :biggrin:
anyway the link to my forum is on my sig i havent got much on yet and would really appreciate help!

Why does evereyone feel the need to make thier own forum! Do we not have enough allready? What is it? Do you just like the feeling of saying you are the admin there? Or si it the attraction of claiming to "own" a site, even though you never paid anything for it,which moves us on to my next point:

Any halfway decent forums have been paid for. Yes, people have actually spent money, and bought thier own domain. This is probably one of the key things that makes forums work. A free "site maker'd" website will not go the whole hog - it may initially gain a few members, but after a while people will come back to the paid for sites. Why? Because they are simply a lot more professional, and will have had more effort put into them. If somone was willing enough to dip into thier wallet/bank account/teapot and pay money, they must be serious about it. You are clearly not - this is what, the third site you have made now?.

Also, the site that you are linking to does not even seem to be finished. The skin is still the default one, the top bar is the default one, the layouts are the default ones...
And there seem to be a few boards missing - I see no informaition on how to actually mod RA, or an area to ask. Do you yourself know? I have never seen any indicaition from you that you do.

Belive me, the site will be dead within a month, maybe probably less.
