So my main modding computer got hardcore raped. It ended up with a virus in the BIOS (thanks to my younger brother), and I now have to purchase a new Motherboard, Processor, and Hard disk. I will have no modding capabilities for a good while. I lost everything.. and i mean EVERYTHING.. including *ALL* XTX and Tiberian Odyssey work.

Sorry guys.. it's not looking pretty for the next few weeks.

I thought it was years since viruses last affected the BIOS.
If it really is a BIOS virus, you can just flash the motherboard so you don't need to replace that. How on God's earth could it affect the processor? I'd assume that an Alienware would have a temperature sensor to cut out if it overclocks, and that's pretty much all the virus could do to it.
