well yesterday i got my new MP3 player, verry good looking thingy, but not even 24 hours later and it died on me
man u cant believe how pissed i am
this is the second one already, last one only worked for a freking month, but this one not even 24 hours COMMON

thats it for me i'll get my money back and they can shuff that damn thing where the sun duse not shine.

dang that really sucks. All I know is the crappy one I have has stayed strong for the year and 1/2 iv had it although I can't say the same for the ear phones that came with it. My only problem with mine is that its memory capacity sucks ass. I can hardly hold 40 songs. >_> although.....that is about to change since I by chance found another one just lying outside and it had a extra memory card thing for them in it.

My dad on the other hand had an iPod from 2 years ago. He bought the warranty for it which was 2 years I think and... guess what? shortly after that 2 year mark *BANG* the damn thing starts to have problems with it and eventually it doesn't charge for some reason. But now he is testing out one of the iPod Video's.

I hope to get a new good MP3 player soon. Hopefully a Creative of some type as I have heard good things about those.

sucks about your luck Wess. but surely like TB has said that you got a warranty on it that covers what happened?

yeah, I agree with Team black here, Creative Zens are a good brand to buy (IMO). My friend has had his for a couple years or so, and its still working fine. If you are going to buy a new one, just buy something thats a sensable price, over 100$ or something, I don't trust anything that costs lower than that.

The Zune isn't really that bad, but it doesn't have the appeal of the iPod. The iPod is more of a fashionable status icon with media functions on the side if you wanna get down to it.

haha, well my RAZR V3i has a 1 gb memory card in it with music on it.. so that's my primary player..

But when I get my phone taken or service turned off, I use my Creative MuVo V100... simple 1gb player that suits it's purpose. I've had it for 3 years now and it's still going strong. =]

The e250... that's one of the better models, but it's older now with the Sansa Connect models out now. (Mine is the m250, same 2 gig capacity but no video playback/photo viewing, don't need either one on such a small device in the first place. )

I also highly recommend getting a Zen!
I have the 30GB Zen Vision:W, and it is simply amazing! Plus it comes with a lot of really awesome software. I really like Creative's 'MediaSource'.
Plus it came with an awesome podcast organiser ('ZENCast Organizer').
