well i have inkshape, but for simple things i like paint, its weird, all the stupid little games that came with my computer, ms paint, and the calculator are gone. guess its time to run that virus scan...

i have gimp, i hate it, its frakking confusing, but if you want Photoshop free then just use coughlimewirecough. also inkscape works great, its open source and way simpler then gimp.

Anyone tried the Paint that's supplied with Vista? It has a few nice improvements. For one, you can zoom OUT too! Zoom levels range from 12,5%-800%

Only thing I don't like is the fact that they moved the color-pallete (which also has been changed a bit - there's a bit more sense in the availiable colors now) to the top of the screen, instead of below.

Strangely enough, you still can't use the text-writing feature in any zoomlevel except on 100%. Though this time, they actually greyed out the button when not on 100%!
