This is my second piece of work. The terrain layout is basically done, and only some triggers and testing remains to be done for the initial release.

Map name : Avenger Desert
Side : Nod
Mission Type : Baseless
Theater : Desert
Breifing : GDI forces made a major coup in the region of Egypt by destroying our base and crippling our temple They demantled our nuclear missile in 3 part kept in Tech centers Apparently a group of our brothers survived and will help you in your operation Once you will make contact with Ops center 05 we will send reinforcement to take the GDI base after lauching your Nuke.

your briefing sounds good. It's quite something new, and that is hard to find.
My question is, if the player can shoot the missile, or an allied Nod (e.g. Multi6 that has Nod colors too). Because i doubt that you can have a Temple without a Nuke available (except it has already been fired). But if it works, it could become a nice mission.
Oh and i like what i see on the preview pics. Prisoners the player has to rescue. cool.gif

Actually, you start with your temple being severly crippled, and you have to pick up the 3 steel crates to assemble the nuke.
And, i never thought about adding multi 6 or any other player, thanks again LKO wink1.gif

i only wasn't sure if you can start a level with a temple but without a nuke.
oh and a little idea for improvement on your first pic

move the rock one cell to the south and one cell to the west.
this would give a good reason, why the street swings to the left

Well, even if i put the tech level to 1 (lowest) I still start with the nuke...Even on low power so you were right.
That cause a real problem, the rest i can live with it.
There is only this thing to fix now..

Not bad map what i can see anyway, what i know of TD mapping..can't have other houses fire a nuke or ion cannon except BadGuy (Nuke) and GoodGuy (Ion) even if placed a temple/adv. comm center in the map for the houses. :sleep:

thats right, but then the player hasn't the fun to fire the nuke.
so he could give the temple Multi6 (that has Nod colors too) and add cell triggers on every point where a nuke component is placed. And then Multi6 fires a Nuke when all cells have been passed. The problem is, you can't control where the AI will shoot the nuke.

Maybe the Trigger Cap=Win/Des=Lose on the Temple is a solution. This way the Temple can be captured that is normaly impossible.

UPDATE :

1. The map Completely changed You are now starting in the wreckrage of your base GDI side of the river with no money.
2. Your taskforce is somewhat...bigger and smaller in the same time
3. If you approach the Temple of Nod without destroying the Adv. comm. center, The temple will be destroy by an Ion cannon strike.
(tested 3 time always work (LKO Idea)).
4. Transport Helicopter now working correctly.
5.If you take too much time finding the Adv. comm. center the AI will fire the Ion cannon on the temple by itself.

I expect realeasing it in 1 hour Approx. dance.gif
