It can be an inside joke relating to Command & Conquer.

I would say that EA could have put a really small easter egg to show that they were thinking of revisiting CnC, but the game was released in 2002 right? Probably was just what Wormaniac said...

I dunno about you, but I always liked the SimCity series, regardless of EA taking it over. (Simcity 4 could've been better, but it was still pretty good) As well as Kane Tiberium, there's also Havoc Bioenhancements as an industrial high-tech building. Yeah.. I'm a SimCity fanatic.. -____-

Now to just show how much I played the game and out of complete randomness, here's some screens of a city that I built lol

Actually, they're clouds produced out of the blue. Pollution clouds are murkey brownish smog, which was kept to a minimum in my city (my most smoggiest city was the city next to this one XD )

hahah yeah, I chuckled when I saw "Kane Tiberium" and "Havoc Bioenhancements" gave me a new idea on how the war started. ...Through business competition. Not only is city building fun (sometimes), destroying them with disasters is even better. The meteor storm and nuclear meltdown has got to be one of the best disasters in the game. The fire looked pretty crappy at the highest level (which I was expecting it to be extremely awesome looking fire), and lightening will give me seizures one of theses days. rolleyes.gif

Snow, as far as I know, was supposed to be implemented in Simcity 4, when the terrain was high enough, but, knowing that all things expected can't be in the game with a deadline, it was left out. There are mods out there, as you can see in my cities. I used an added in highway along with the "turning sections" of streets and little cul-de-sac loops. There's also roundabouts that can be placed as well as many other, rather insignificant, modifications to the game to actually make your cities a lot more realistic. There is a mod with snow out there. smile.gif Unfortunately, I have yet to see any desert theatres out there.

Knew about the Kane joke in SimCity 4. Didn't know about the Havoc one though.

Think I need to dig up SC4 again..

I liked SimCity 3000 a lot.
SimCity 4 was a bit... well it wasn't my taste.
Nice city Yoshi dance.gif

I love the realistic aspects of the game, but one MAJOR thing that disappointed me was the lack of creating streams on mountains as well as waterfalls. sad.gif

One thing I love to do in Simcity 4 is make my city as beautiful as possible, while also maintaining my city's financial budget.

I like to make a city and messing around in free drive (Apache FTW!!!) and when I get bored I destroy the city with a meteor swarm (or UFO invasion (I didn't find a better name than UFO rolleyes.gif ))

(I have just started playing again)
